Women and Wellness is a unique and popular annual event designed to empower and unite women while also increasing awareness of mental health issues and raising funds to support the work of the Canadian Mental Health Association – PEI Division. This year's event will once again be ticketed at $50 per person. We are pleased to present an intimate evening with a must-see all-female lineup of featured artists and speakers, including:
-
An introduction from our Master of Ceremonies, Jill Chandler, followed by an uplifting message from PEI's Poet Laureate Julie Pellissier-Lush
-
The song stylings of Island musician, Katie McGarry and beautiful poetry readings from Carrie Lundy author of So Hum.
-
We will also hear from our two presenters:
-
Kate Eastman (Wilkinson) Co-Founder and President at Turn On The Lights
-
Meaghan Grant, one of our amazing CMHA PEI Peer Support Workers. She will share her personal story of how she found recovery and turned her life around.
-
Tickets also include:
-
Hors d'oeuvres and desserts prepared fresh by Chef Emily Wells (The Mill in New Glasgow)
-
The chance to win a door prize!
All proceeds are in support of CMHA PEI’s mental health programs and services.
Thank you to the many businesses and individuals who support Women and Wellness and help make the evening such a success! All money raised stays on PEI to support programs and services of the Canadian Mental Health Association. *This is an aged 19 and over event.
